Walt - Lead Vocals and Bass. His voice will get your attention fast!
Walt can do a great Alan Jackson, Johnny Cash, Ian Anderson, and many
others! He has been a long time member of the Northeast Country Music
Association and he and his band Sweet Cider have received many awards for their original Bluegrass music!
Walt Yanis - Bass and Vocals - March 27, 1951 - December 23, 2010 - RIP good buddy.
Sheila - Lead Vocals - Former lead vocalist for the country bands "Haywire" and "Railway", and classic rock band "Derailed", Sheila brings the right kind of experience to Lucky Ticket! Her powerful voice will be sure to please!
Stu - Lead Vocals and Lead Guitar. Stu will impress you with the skill and accuracy of his lead playing and may also impress you when he steps up and provides a third lead vocal for a few of our tunes! Also, if you like our vocal harmonies, Stu is the guy to high five! Stu has also been in several local bands including the highly acclaimed Almighty Frequencies, Vintage Nights, Derailed and Broken Lies.
Tony - Vocals and Lead Guitar. Tony has been around a long time and makes some difficult guitar parts look very easy. He can play the blues with a pick, chicken pick with his fingers, and pretty much everything in between. He is great at getting the correct chords, leads, and especially the tone and feel for songs that most other bands never get right.
Dave Twarog - Drums and Vocals. Dave's former band was the Albany based "The Students". In addition to being our excellent drummer, he does a great job as our male lead singer! He has a wide vocal range which allows us to do a variety of tunes from the Everly Brothers to AC / DC!
Scott McGill - Keyboards. Scott is not officially a member of Lucky Ticket, but he might as well be because he's always there when the gig requires a great keyboardist!
Karen - Former drummer and singer. She is now drumming for an excellent all girl band called "Voodoo Lily"! Anyone who saw her drum and sing knows she is a great talent! She'll be sittin' in with Lucky Ticket from time to time.
Lynn Nicoll - Lead Vocals. No longer with Lucky Ticket, but a good friend who will sit in occasionally.
Rich Coogan - Keyboards. No longer with Lucky Ticket but still a good friend. Catch him sometime with Funk Evolution!
Michele - Lead Vocals - No longer with Lucky Ticket but still a good friend. She is the owner/instructor of Albany Ballroom Social Dance Studio.
Prior to Lucky Ticket, Michele was a vocalist in top area bands Cryin' Out Loud, Marlowe and Company, and Got 2 Groove! Originally from Syracuse, her other band experiences include an A Cappella Doo Wop group called 45 RPM, The Sonny Day Orchestra, and collaborations with The Syracuse Outlaw Band.
Chris Turiano - Drums. No longer with Lucky Ticket but still a good friend. Not really sure where you can catch him, but if you do... stay off the stage!
Wayne Orr - Bass. Wayne is our main go to guy when we need a bass player. He is also the go to guy for Ten Year Vamp and Up All Night. Everyone wants him because he's the best!
