The Band
Michele - Lead Vocals - You will love Michele! Not only can she sing, she can dance! She is the owner/instructor of Albany Ballroom Social Dance Studio.
Prior to Lucky Ticket, Michele was a vocalist in top area bands Cryin' Out Loud, Marlowe and Company, and Got 2 Groove! Originally from Syracuse, her other band experiences include an A Cappella Doo Wop group called 45 RPM, The Sonny Day Orchestra, and collaborations with The Syracuse Outlaw Band.
She is also experienced singing country music and is familiar with a large number of tunes from Patsy Cline to Gretchen Wilson. Other genres that she is experienced with are Motown, Blues, Jazz, R&B, Swing, Latin, and Pop. A link to her dance studio website is on our "Contact/Links" page.
Chris - Drums and Vocals. Former drummer for some great area bands including Cryin' Out Loud, The Accents, and the Ruddies. With a musical background like this, you know he's top shelf! Chris will also be helping out on background and lead vocals!
Rich - Keyboard and Vocals. Rich is a good name for this band member! He is "rich" with talent! He adds an entire new dimension to Lucky Ticket. We share Rich with another popular area band called "Steppin' Out". If he doesn't mind the extra work, then we don't mind either! A link to his other band is on this website.
Walt - Lead Vocals and Bass. His voice will get your attention fast! Walt can do a great Alan Jackson, Johnny Cash, Ian Anderson, and many others! He has been a long time member of the Northeast Country Music Association and he and his band Sweet Cider have received many awards for their original Bluegrass music! You'll find the link to that band on this website.
Stu - Lead Vocals and Lead Guitar. Stu will impress you with the skill and accuracy of his lead playing and may also impress you when he steps up and provides a fourth lead vocal for a few of our tunes! Also, if you like our vocal harmonies, Stu is the guy to high five! Stu has also been in several local bands including the highly acclaimed Almighty Frequencies, Vintage Nights, Derailed and Broken Lies.
Tony - Vocals and Lead Guitar. Tony has been around a long time and makes some difficult guitar parts look very easy. He can play the blues with a pick, chicken pick with his fingers, and pretty much everything in between. He is great at getting the correct chords, leads, and especially the tone and feel for songs that most other bands never get right.
Karen - Former drummer and singer. She is included here because she was the number one attention getter of Lucky Ticket and you may be wondering where she is! In a nutshell, she told her doctor that it hurts when she drums. Her doctor said "stop drumming!" And that's what she did! We wish her well! Anyone who saw her drum and sing knows she is a great talent! She'll be sittin' in with the band from time to time.
